Inspired by Jibaro by Alberto Mielgo, Sirens reimagines these mythical beings beyond their legend. Once depicted as part woman, part bird and later part fish; Sirens are famed for voices so beautiful they led sailors astray, pulling them toward ruin. Long cast as symbols of temptation and danger, this piece asks: are sirens truly the monsters of the myth, or does a deeper truth lie beneath the surface?

Born of the ancient catalogue of the seven deadly sins, Mortal takes to the stage as a solemn and stirring dance of the human soul, where every step, turn, and trembling pause gives voice to desire contending with duty. Upon this imagined floor, bodies move as hearts do reaching, recoiling, yielding, and resisting. each gesture shaped by longing and restrained by conscience.
